Art Train of Ukraine: Canvases of Unity

The collected funds will be used to purchase 80 art canvases, which will serve as the foundation for creating children’s artworks within the “Art Train” project.
“Art Train” is an artistic initiative by Plyndin Gallery, born at the HALA Art Buda location as part of the Halabuda Fest festival. Its core consists of children’s paintings created during open creative sessions held in various cities across Ukraine.
Each artwork represents a separate “carriage” of the art train — a child’s personal voice, emotions, experiences, and view of the world. Together, these works form a single traveling exhibition that moves across the country, connecting children from different regions into one shared cultural journey.
The project has a social and therapeutic focus. Participation in the creative sessions is free of charge, and the painting process takes place in a space without judgment, competition, or rigid frameworks — as a form of emotional support, self-expression, and recovery.
After completion, the artworks remain part of the project and are later exhibited in group exhibitions within cultural spaces throughout Ukraine, capturing moments of shared action, mutual support, and unity.
“Art Train” is a living archive of children’s voices that continues its journey, stopping in new cities and welcoming new participants into a shared story.
